2017 Md. Media State Poll (Week 6)

After weeks of toggling between St. Frances and DeMatha, the media finally has a clear No. 1.

St. Frances collected all 12 first-place votes this week.

In recent weeks DeMatha and St. Frances have taken turns at No. 1 in the state, and even spent a couple weeks tied. DeMatha’s second out-of-state loss this season finally pushed undefeated St. Frances to a clear No. 1 choice.

Wise moves up to No. 2, and this perennial Class 4A power is poised for a move to No. 1 should St. Frances falter. Damascus checks in at No. 3, followed by DeMatha and McDonogh.
