2018 Md. Media State Poll (Week 4)

Sometimes, there’s simply not that much news to report when the rankings are released.

The 25 teams from last week are the same 25 this week — with a few slight changes in position.

Bullis moves up to No. 4 after knocking off Quince Orchard for the second straight year. Linganore advances to the No. 10 following another one-sided victory.

The only other news, although it didn’t matter in the final tally, one voter cast his lot for DeMatha at No. 1, saying St. Frances’ lack of activity at this point was the driving factor in re-assessing his top vote. St. Frances is 1-0, and still the run-away No. 1, while most of the state is nearing the halfway point of the season. Of course, St. Frances’ schedule is back-loaded as the team will be playing regular season contests while the rest of the state is embarking on playoff football.

Now, on with the media Top 25 this week …
