2018 Md. Media State Poll (Week 7)
The place to be Friday night is in Montgomery County — with two monumental events.
Good Counsel is playing host to DeMatha and the winner has the inside track on the No. 1 seed in the WCAC playoffs and likely the No. 2 spot in the state rankings. A little further up I-270, Damascus will be playing for history. The Hornets have won 49 consecutive games — one shy of the seemingly impossible-to-break mark of 50, set by Urbana.
Again, this week, the same 25 teams grace the Top 25, with a few slight changes. Mount St. Joseph swaps spots with Damascus following another win over a Top 25 opponent, moving up to No. 4. Spalding fell to No. 9, behind Wise, after a 14-point setback to Calvert Hall.
