2022 Md. Media State Poll (Week 8)

The final week of MPSSAA regular-season play has arrived.

This week is full of rivalry games around the state, but amazingly, not a single game features two Top 25 teams going head-to-head. In fact, it’s the only week this year that has happened, and likely the only week that it will happen.

Looking back at last week’s results, North Point’s upset over former No. 13 Northern Calvert helped North Point enter the Top 25 at No. 13, the lone newcomer this week. Oakdale, which lost to Frederick, fell out of the Top 25, making room for North Point.

At the top of the rankings, there was no change in the Top 5 with St. Frances, Good Counsel, DeMatha, Archbishop Spalding and Quince Orchard staying in the top spots.

Now on with the rest of the Top 25 …
