2022 Md. Media State Poll (Regional)
After two rounds of postseason play, the ranked teams have barely moved.
The real fun starts now with Top 25 teams going head-to-head each of the next three weeks as Maryland’s private and public schools playoffs wind to a close. After this week, the private schools will be finished, unless St. Frances receives a bid to a national game in December. There are three weeks remaining in the public school season.
The only newcomers in this week’s Top 25 are a pair of Frederick County schools — Oakdale checking in at No. 20 after upsetting Frederick and one-loss Urbana at No. 25. Urbana’s only loss is to Oakdale.
St. Frances remains the undisputed No. 1, but DeMatha moves up to No. 2, followed by Archbishop Spalding at 3, Quince Orchard at 4 and Good Counsel rounding out the Top 5.
