2017 Md. Media State Poll (Week 9)
Sure, the MPSSAA playoffs are a week away, but Week 10 has become the de facto play-in round.
For about 30 public schools this week, it’s either win and advance to the playoffs or lose and go home. So, in a manner of speaking, Week 10 is now a playoff game for those teams.
For most of the Top 25 public schools, Week 10 is merely about seeding — win and stay at home; lose and risk a first- or second-round game on the road.
There was not much movement in the rankings this week as the same 25 teams that graced last week’s rankings are back this week — some in slightly different spots.
