2017 Md. Media State Poll (Week 10)
Now the fun starts.
Fourteen of the Top 25 teams will be chasing state titles over the next four weeks. Five of the private schools will be battling it out for either MIAA A or WCAC crowns. The rest are either finished or have a game left, as we are starting to wind down the 2017 season.
St. Frances remains the unanimous No. 1 team and could have two big-time contests remaining the MIAA A semifinal with McDonogh, and with a win, the title game. Without a doubt, an MIAA A title will give St. Frances its first-ever Media State Poll No. 1 finish.
A trio of defending state champs hold the current Nos. 2, 3 and 4 spots. If St. Frances falters, the final state No. 1 is likely to come from this group.
