2019 Md. Media State Poll (Week 8)

With one week left in the Maryland public school regular season, teams are still jockeying for playoff spots.

But the public schools listed below have secured their spots and are looking at multiple home games.

The new playoff format this year features eight teams in each region advancing to postseason play. The first two regional rounds set up what will be the new state quarterfinals, providing a bit more excitement for the stretch run.

The 13 public schools in this week’s Top 25, led by Quince Orchard at No. 4, all have secured home playoff games for at least the first two rounds of postseason action, and in most cases, the first three rounds.
