It was a big-number week featuring a 400+-yard passing performance, a 300+-yard rushing performance and a running back rushing for six TDs and plenty of school records.
Here are our Week 3 honorees:
TYLER WOMACK, Annapolis, Jr.
Womack delivered a school record-setting 341-yard rushing performance in Annapolis' 42-32 win over Severna Park. The junior scored three touchdowns during his 28-carry outing. He clipped the previous record of 330 yards 330, set by Rayvon Johnson against Glen Burnie in 1999.
ETHAN ARNESON, Linganore, Sr.
A former Frederick News-Post Player of the Year has upped his game this season as Linganore is off to a 3-0 start. This past weekend, Arneson set a school record by rushing for six touchdowns in the Lancers' 42-12 win over Walkersville.
ANTHONY DIXON JR. and TESHAUN RYALS-WILSON, Richard Montgomery
You can't mention one without the other this week. Dixon passed for a staggering 414 yards and three touchdowns on 29 of 48 performance. Ryals-Wilson, meanwhile, hauled in 18 of those passes for 259 yards and two scores. The big numbers came as a result of RM trying to fight back in a 52-29 loss toi state-ranked Northwest.
DOMINIC NICHOLS, Oakdale, Sr.
The Michigan commit had nine tackles, one sack, nine QB pressures and one interception as Oakdale defeated Frederick 28-16 in a clash of state-ranked teams.
COLIN REYNOLDS, Georgetown Prep, Sr.
