2017 Md. Media State Poll (Week 5)

It is clear that two teams stand above the rest.

The order of those two, however, fluctuates week to week. In the ongoing musical chairs at No. 1 that has seen every combination of DeMatha and St. Frances at 1-2 — and even tied for No. 1 — settles on St. Frances in the top spot this week.

While DeMatha was idle, St. Frances handed league rival Loyola a 65-0 this past week. St. Frances collected seven first-place votes to nudge DeMatha by two points.

Wise remains No. 3 with McDonogh moving to No. 4 following a win over state-ranked Archbishop Spalding and Damascus at No. 5.
